Tom has a proven track record of success in a variety of industries and functions. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a degree in marketing, Tom moved to Dallas, TX to work in sales management for Procter and Gamble then in brand management for Frito-Lay. He subsequently earned his MBA from Harvard and held a variety of positions in commercial real estate, a $3.0 billion office supply roll-up and a leading internet e-tailer in the Washington, DC area.
In 2000, Tom moved to Orlando to lead sales and marketing for Hughes Supply. At Hughes, he also became President of the $500 million MRO division. After Hughes was acquired by The Home Depot, Tom held positions including Chairman and CEO of a cyber security start-up, General Manager of Residential Brands at Interline Brands, A Goldman Sachs Company and CEO of a large HVAC company headquartered in Orlando.
